critical mass montreal: riding daily, celebrating monthly

Hello montreal bicyclists!

You and your low-riders, fixies, two-talls, roadbikes, mountain bikes, cruisers, choppers, 3-speeds, tandems, tricycles, solar-powered, recumbant, old, new, kid-sized, any and all your modes of human-powered transportation are invited to ride in the Critical Mass!

On the last friday of each month, we meet downtown, and go for a bike ride. By sticking together, we transform the busy streets into a lively and sustainable place, a momentary glimpse of what the future of our city might look like. With the hot sunny weather and the friendly presence of
BIKE POLICE, our rides in June and May were tremendously fun. It seems like the City might actually be supporting bike riders instead of giving
us tickets and fines! Now, we just wish that more of the thousands of Montrealers risk their life biking every day would join in the fun.
That’s why, this month, we’re going for a NEW RECORD! 1000 bikes in a montreal critical mass!

Imagine!

27 July
1000 bikes at the montreal CRITICAL MASS!!!
Meet at PhillipSquare, Ste. Catherines et Union at 5:30pm
